COPY-CAT Starbucks Birthday Cake Cake-Pop

Have you ever tried Starbucks’ Birthday Cake Cake Pop?? If you haven’t then you are seriously missing out! It is sweet, flavorful, and not to mention absolutely adorable! But of course… it isn’t gluten free, so I am here to remedy that! I made my own gluten friendly version that tastes exactly like the real thing, if not better!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Box of gluten free vanilla cake
  • 3 Tbsp of vanilla frosting
  • 1 Package of vanilla candy melts
  • 1/3 Cup vegetable oil
  • Lollipop sticks

Optional Ingredients:

  • Pink food coloring
  • Colorful Sprinkles

Directions:

  • Bake cake according to the box instructions
  • Let it cool, then scrape the brown edges off the cake
  • Crumble the cake into pieces then mix in frosting
  • Form into balls, place on lined baking tray, and put in freezer to chill
  • Melt candy melts and vegetable oil in microwave until fully melted
  • Take a lollipop stick and dip the tip end into the melted chocolate then push into the center of each cake ball
  • Freeze until firm then dip completely into the melted candy melts to cover the entire ball
  • Refrigerate and enjoy!!
